The Phoenix Dance by Dia CalhounI thought this would be a good book but as I got further and further into it I found the writing to frilly, the story line too hard to follow and the characters hard to believe. Definately not one of my favorite books.

Akimbo and the Lions by Alexander McCall Smith Excellent as usual. He has a knack for writing and it is wonderfully entertaining.

The History of Love by Nicole KraussThis was an o.k. book. I listened to it. It is one of those books that you really need to read. I got lost from time to time throughout the story.

This book is great! Jeanne Birdsall writes a lot like Beverly Cleary--very gentle yet adventurous writing. Great book for younger kids.

I loved this book! Very imaginative. By the author of Tuck Everlasting.
This book started out o.k. Then got too monotonous with everyone fighting constantly. It also ended without a conclusion if that makes any sense. ¶ 7:54 PM 0 comments
