Portuguese Irregular Verbs by Alexander McCall Smith

At the Villa of Reduced Circumstances by Alexander McCall Smith
Both of these books are excellent as is all of Alexander McCall Smith's writings. I love the fact that the protagonist's are German.

Julia and Julie; 365 days, 524 recipes, 1 tiny apartment kitchen by Julie Powell
Good. Too much fowl language but nice descriptions of the actual cooking and what Julie goes through to finish her goal. Also some nice exerpts of diary entries from Paul Childs, Julia Childs husband. They were well chosen.

The Minister's Daughter by Julie Hearn
Awesome book. Piskies and witches and cunning women. Lots of good historical fiction!

The Adrian Mole Diaries; the Secret Diaries of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4; The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole by Sue Townsend
Funny diary written by Adrian Mole. Goes from 13 to 16 years old.

The Confessions of Max Tivoli by Andrew Sean Greer
Excellent book! Beautiful writing and creative and imaginative story. I enjoyed it.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
(along with the rest of the world)
Finally got through it. It was good but sad. I'll be very sad when the next one comes out and there will be no more Hogwarts.

Diana Lively is Falling Down by Sheila Curran
Funny and entertaining. Not to many bad words or sex scenes.

Never Have Your Dog Stuffed by Alan Alda
Has a familiar writing style. Love the fact that he doesn't focus on M*A*S*H so much. Also that he and his wife have stayed married and he is a movie star.
